Katie Perkins is a visual journalist based in College Station, Texas. She is currently a multimedia specialist for Texas A&M AgriLife. Katie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in creative media industries with a minor in natural resource management from Texas Tech University. She was previously the video intern for the Texas Tech Office of Communications & Marketing, a photo intern for Texas Tech Athletics, Correspondent for Planet Forward, as well as the multimedia editor and staff photojournalist at The Daily Toreador.

She is a born and raised Texan, a passionate conservationist, and an enthusiastic storyteller. When not at work you can find her at your nearest nature walk, consuming too much matcha, or haunting a karaoke dive bar.
